Farmington canyon is great ride in early June. The top of Farmington canyon is so beautiful. Michelle like to do this ride several times a year since it is in our backyard. We love riding in our Polaris General because it has a good ride and performance.
Access to canyon is dependent on the snow pack. If there is a great deal of snow you might have to wait tell later in the year before the Forest Service opens the gate (i.e. Check with Forest Service before you go on your ride). There is a gate at the entrance and there are also gates further up the canyon. There is one gate that gives you access for Francis Peak and another gate that gives you access to Bountiful Peak and you can ride all the way to Bountiful on Skyline drive if all the gates are open.
